o Participate in the preparation of specifications for new equipment.
o Perform skilled mechanical work in the repair and overhaul of equipment, set up all new vehicles as required.
o Operating and repair characteristics of a variety of public works heavy duty equipment.

o Maintains comprehensive records for each item of equipment with respect to downtime, mechanical malfunctions and repairs necessary. Assembles reports on the suitability, reliability, availability and operating costs of various models of equipment.

o Performs administrative duties such as keeping time sheets, maintaining daily equipment logs and submitting manufacturer warranties.

o Estimation and prepare documentations.
o Allocating work to a team of technicians.
o Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns.
o Communicating with the customer’s representatives regarding program / maintenance progress.
o Carrying out quality inspections.
o Manage, Review the weekly and monthly status maintenance issue in power tools & generators.
o Coordinate with workshop supervisor, technicians with spear parts issues.

o To work as part of the Engineering management team to ensure that cost effective and value added solutions are in place to meet customer needs.
o To ensure that a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to company health, safety and environment policies, and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation.
o To control and allocate the flow of work through the workshop to make the best practices.
o To ensure that the workshop housekeeping and operating practices are of a high standard and that special tools and equipment is well maintained OEM manufacture.
o Manufacture spare parts as required using lathes, milling machines, welding equipment, etc.
